I wanted to change from fireplace doors to a screen, but didn't want to spend a lot of money. This screen fit the bill. It's attractive and the price was better than I've seen anywhere else. We're in the middle of summer, so we haven't used it yet with a fire going. I think it will do a fine job as the mesh is very tight.
