            Needed a rug in front of our wood burning stove to help with ashes and hot amber's from hitting our floor and burning it. Well as soon as we got it I used it and it prevented what would have been two huge burn spots on our floor. The carpet is a very neutral design/color and is made well.               The hearth rug looks very nice in our family room and is exactly what I wanted. It is washable, does not slip yet looks stylish and keeps the embers from damaging the floor. On top of that the price was very reasonable. Overall this is MUCH better than my previous one that I paid around $90 for. Excellent hearth rug.
