The rug looks great! I like the design. It is 90 degrees in Houston so I won't really use it till fall or winter when it gets cold and we light up the fireplace. But it looks good.

Comments about French Quarter Hearth Rug:

A spark did pop out of the fireplace. The rug did prevent the ember from immediately touching the regular carpet in the room but it burned through on one spot and slightly burned the regular room carpet at that spot. It has another burn mark that did not go all the way through the rug. It offers some fireprotection to the normal room carpet and does not seem to combust into flames when an ember hits it.
