This is a great decorative screen. We use it in front of a gas log fireplace. Not sure I would use it in front of a big roaring real fire with sparks but it is great for what we were looking for. Highly recommended.

This screen is not only practical but a great piece of interior architectural detail as well. It is definitely not flimsy and is perfectly constructed to stand on its own - nicely balanced. The overall color is rather dark but it shows nicely against our white fireplace. A really nice screen for the money.
