Comments about Minute Man Minuteman Intl. Single Panel Studio Glass Fireplace Door:
I ordered this product and received it fairly quickly, though it did come freight which required a signature. Item was packed very well and came with clear instructions. It requires typical tools like a power drill, masonry bits, screwdrivers, hammer, and wrench. I was able to install it in about 2 hours, being very careful to make it look perfect.
My only challenges during installation were that several of the hardware brackets needed to be bent or cut in order to not show in the fireplace, and that the size of masonry bit specified wasn't large enough to accommodate the anchors provided. Also, one of the doors likes to pop open more easily than the other, but that may be adjustable.
Overall, I think this is an excellent product that will save energy costs and make our fireplace much safer. The exact same item was MUCH more expensive from a local retailer -- thank you fireplacescreens!
