The fireplace screen was even more attractive than I expected. I wanted it only to shield the unattractive faux logs which are in our gas-fired fireplace - not to deflect sparks as one would expect. Would have liked the screen to be just a little more dense so that the fake logs would be even less visible, but it does an adequate job.

The screws on the bottom outer supports get unscrewed and get lost. The screen is easily pushed out of the frame.
It looks great and prevents sparks coming out.

I love the way the screen looks so beautiful and makes my fireplace look more expensive. For the price, the screen is built well enough to last many years. The screen does not look cheap at all. I am very happy with my purchase and have no regrets.

i've been shopping for a stand alone fire screen and had it down with two choices; this more traditional looking one versus one with a sculputred metal front. It was a tough choice but I went traditional and I'm so pleased with the look of it. Blends well with my motif and the price was definately right. It is not only good looking but appears well made and sturdy..

We will now be able to keep the glass fire doors open to increase the heat into our living room. Previously embers would pop onto our hardwood floor and leave a burn mark if we kept the glass doors open.
